Alliance Huntington Park College-Ready Academy High School

The Jaguar family has launched its eighth year with a 782 API, continuing to outperform the neighboring schools. As we parted ways with a graduating class of 122 students in Spring 2012, we have welcomed an eager and energetic class of 165 freshmen students, 6 new teachers, 1 new administrator, and 2 new office members. Alliance Huntington Park College-Ready Academy High School continues to push our athletic program toward playoffs and provide our students with numerous after-school clubs, and enrichment opportunities. While constantly maintaining our focus as an academic school, our team continues to provide our students weekly after-school tutoring, a rigorous CAHSEE and SAT program, and now an unprecedented total of 9 AP course offerings! Prior to the fall semester ending, we already began to celebrate numerous college acceptances, including a full-tuition POSSE scholarship for Kalamazoo College in Michigan.

As we continue our exciting journey through the 2012–2013 school year, we are driven to go above and beyond an 800 API. We are ensuring a productive and fun year as we look forward to rewarding our fifth graduating class with the unforgettable memories of senior prom, Grad Night, and also giving them the confidence and support to succeed at the college level. We are grateful to have such a dedicated team and staff, as well as a very supportive parental base, to ensure the best education for our students, and especially a learning environment that they can call home.
